Joe Stone is the principal Audio Engineer for the IUB branch of Media Design & Production. You may have seen him making his way around campus, to classrooms, conference rooms, theaters, and auditoriums with a dolly of media gear in tow.
Joe's interest in audio began as early as 6 years old, when he began using a record player and a cassette recorder to put together make-believe radio shows. When he reached high school, he upgraded his make-believe radio show for a real one, at Warren Central High School's radio station. Since then, Joe's interests in sound have led him to working with Live Sound, Musical Instrument Retailers, Stagehand Unions, and Recording Studios.
He has been with Media Design & Production (formerly Media Production under ISS) since September 2001. In his spare time he enjoys recording his friend's music, tinkering with electronics, riding his bike, mixed martial arts, journalizing, and sustainability.
